b.1994, South Korea. Lives and works in Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaMin Baek (b.1994, South Korea) is a visual artist working with abstract painting and sculpture. Her practice explores themes of transition, impermanence, womanhood, and the fragility of life. Baek is currently working toward an MFA degree at the University of Pennsylvania (2023). Baek has had a solo show at the Spectrum Gallery (Seoul, KR), and participated in group shows at Artspace Boan 1942 (Seoul, KR), Rainbow Cube (Seoul, KR), Youngeun Museum, (Gwangju, KR), Gummies Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), New Works (Chicago, IL), Viridian Artists (New York, NY), among others. She is a recent recipient of the Oakley Medal of Achievement (Philadelphia, PA).
