Meeyoung Kim has a Master of Arts in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London, as well as both a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Korean Painting from Ewha Woman's University in Seoul. Her distinguished solo shows are Both Sides Now at Gallery Baton in Seoul (2015) and Portes Ouvertes at Cité des Arts in Paris (2013). She has participated in group exhibits such as Rules at One and J. Gallery in Seoul (2016) and the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London (2014). Kim has also garnered many awards, including the Paris Studio Prize from the Royal College of Art in 2013 and a residence at Kunst Doc Leipzig in 2011.
